Community based physical activities such as Badminton, Yoga, Gaana Dance, and Karate. These activities are focused on the adults of the community, as we understand the importance of mental health, especially in our community.

Community Support
Our association is a supportive network for Tamil individuals and families. We offer assistance and resources for newcomers, organize community service projects, and provide a platform for networking and collaboration. The Association also looks to engage with the wider community in Southend City cultural and social festival events, to promote and express our culture.

Youth Engagement
We are committed to engaging the younger generation through special programs and activities designed to inspire pride in their heritage and encourage active participation in cultural events.

Remembrance Day

Tamil Remembrance Day is a solemn occasion dedicated to honouring the sacrifices of Tamils during the Sri Lankan Civil War, particularly those who lost their lives in the conflict. This day holds deep significance for the Tamil diaspora, serving as a poignant reminder of the struggles faced by the Tamil community in Sri Lanka. Commemorative ceremonies, candlelight vigils, and educational programs are held to remember the victims, raise awareness of ongoing human rights issues, and reinforce Tamil cultural identity. Through artistic expressions such as music and poetry, the day mourns those who perished and advocates for peace, justice, and reconciliation within the community and beyond.
