Southend Tamil Association remembers Thileepan (Rasiah Parthipan), who fasted to death in Jaffna in September 1987, calling on the Indian government to honour the pledges made to the Tamil people. Join us for a remembrance gathering at the Tamil school. All are welcome.

1987 செப்டெம்பரில் யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில், தமிழ் மக்களுக்கு வழங்கிய வாக்குறுதிகளை இந்திய அரசு நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும் எனக் கோரி உண்ணாவிரதம் இருந்து உயிர்நீத்த திலீபன் (இராசையா பார்த்திபன்) அவர்களை சௌத்தென்ட் தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் நினைவுகூர்கிறது. தமிழ்ப் பாடசாலையில் நடைபெறும் நினைவேந்தலில் அனைவரும் கலந்துகொள்ள அன்புடன் அழைக்கிறோம்.
